The family of Hugh Schatz is deeply saddened to announce his passing
on Thursday, August 25, 2016. Beloved brother of Barbara (David) Marchione. Fond uncle of Jennifer
(Darren) Moscato, Abby and Josh Moscato; Stephanie (John) Griffin, Kyle and Katie Griffin; Chris (Ronna) Marchione, Anthony and Laila Marchione. Also uncle of the late Michael Marchione. Dearest cousin of Coleman (Wendy) Rotstein and their children; Yossi (Yong Nan Kim) and his children; Sarina Auriel and her children; Gloria Evans and her children and Janet Kerekes. Nephew of the late Eleanor Charney his very special aunt. Also survived by many other cousins and friends at the condo where he resided. Hugh was a teacher in the Toronto Public School system for over 20 years. The family will host a gathering to celebrate Hugh’s life at the Muskoka Discovery Centre, 275 Steamship Bay Road, Gravenhurst on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p. m. All are invited to attend.
