Condolence From: Jan and Jim Davidson
Condolence: Jim and I met Lorne and Bunty in 1990 when we purchased our cottage on Moon River. They were warm and welcoming, and had a wealth of knowledge. Lorne and I shared a love of painting, so we became fast friends. We loved his travelogues, and his wonderful ability to share his history and knowledge on carvings, paintings, and who could forget his dive helmet, and telescope!
He inspired many young people (esp his grandkids) and shared his many talents. Lorne was a true gem, and in my mind, a national treasure.
He will be missed.
