Condolence From: Louise Simmons
Condolence: Dear Liz, Cathy, Stephan and Paul,
Deepest condolences to you and the family. May you find consolation in knowing that Bessie is now at peace in a better place. She will be greatly missed for her quiet, generous, loving, gracious, faithful, selfless and beautiful humanity.
Bessie had so many gifts; drawing, writing, baking and many more! She made my childhood and early adult life special. Many of us are better people for knowing her!
So many memories; screaming in terror on a ride at the CNE, Massey Hall, Sunday school, more recipes and baking than I've ever seen.
She always recognized and was happy for my smallest passages through life!
Bess, Jim, Min, and Carl; such friends in life, now beautiful souls in heaven.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.
Love;
Louise

Condolence: Some of my (John) happy memories were spent in Muskoka with the Brackley families. They go back to when Liz was quite young. I knew Bess as a friendly, gracious person. No matter the age of the person, the loss of a mother, a grandmother, a member of the family always leaves a hole. May our thoughts and prayers at this time provide some small comfort.

Condolence: Jan and I popped in to visit Bess unexpectedly when we were in the area several years ago. I was on a nostalgia tour reliving some of my favourite memories of time spent at the Brackley cottage. Though she had no time to prepare she welcomed us into her home and we were able to relive some favourite memories. In addition, we were the recipients of freshly baked cookies, ice cream and ginger ale. We would welcome the opportunity to be with you on Saturday but are leading a retreat and unable to be with you. Please know we stand with you as you say your final goodbyes. Chuck and Jan Congram.

Condolence: Dear Liz,Cathy, Stephen,Paul and families,
I was sad to hear about Bessie . My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.I have such fond memories of Bessie especially cups of tea with her fantastic baking. I remember visiting after school many days and just chatting and eating. She was a very special person to all the Simmons family as we really grew up with her in our lives. I bet she will be reunited with my Mum and discussing many topics with tea and sweets as I recall them doing either by phone or in person. May she rest in peace. God bless

Condolence From: Jane Simmons
Condolence: Dear Liz, Cathy, Stephen, Paul and families:

Today I think of Bessie’s kindness, laughter and generosity. I think of her caring nature and beauty inside and out. I think of her faith in God and how it sustained Bessie all of her life. I think of the memories of our shared childhoods: birthdays made fun by Bessie, summer days at the lake, the beauty of her Christmas preparations, the smell of baking in the kitchen - which was always the best, the simple pleasure of a cup of tea with Bessie and her soft voice in conversation.

I am deeply saddened. Please accept my sincere condolences, knowing that I am thinking of you all.

I loved Bessie and will miss her. We can now be comforted by the sure knowledge that she is reunited with Jim and all of her loved ones who have gone on before. Hopefully she is saying hi to mum and dad for us.

Love
Jane (Simmons)
