KERR, Roy Wesley – Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Friday, November 10th, 2017. Roy was in his 93rdyear, of Gravenhurst , formerly of Kilworthy. He was the beloved husband of Jean Shirley Kerr (Sopher). Loving father of Gail Benz (John) of Thunder Bay, Kathleen Cuffe of Gravenhurst, Janet Turney (Mark) of Kilworthy, and Andrea Gaudet (Paul) of Washago. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Peter, Christopher, Shaleen, Ashley, Leah, Kassin, Heather, Driean, Shaunie, Morgan, and Marshall. Great grandfather of Wesley, Carter Benz, Cassia Cuffe, Mason Benz, Logan Dysart, Lincoln Bylow and Addyson Benz. Predeceased by his sister Jacklin Riggs. Member of Masonic Lodge #409, past grand lodge officer, member of the RCL Branch #302 Gravenhurst), past president of the Gravenhurst Seniors Club, member of the United Senior Citizens of Ontario, past president of the Optimist Service Club, Scarborough. Friends may join the family on Saturday, November 18th, 2017 from 11:30 – 1:00 pm at St. James Anglican Church in Gravenhurst where a Masonic Lodge Service will be held at 1:00 pm immediately followed by a memorial service with Reverend Heather Manuel officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, Gravenhurst, ON. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Gravenhurst Seniors Centre, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation.
